Hi, I am waiting for my criminal background check from FBI. It is expected to receive in next few days. However, I plan travel to Mexico for a week starting from end of next week. I am wondering if it is ok that I submit the application outside of Canada during travel. I will return back by May...

I called agent last Thursday, they told me the exact same thing, passport is sending for stamp but nothing was updated till today... hope no more issues.....

I think they can confirm whether received the passport if you email Ottawa office but not sure about returning passport... best way is to try after Ontario lock down ends on Feb.22(assume they will end....)

from what i found in the ask kuber facebook group, due to lock down IRCC has limited access to the mail room..their clients take 7-9 weeks for the processing of passport.
