Congrats! I agree it must be good news. About informing you - it really depends on the visa office or the person dealing with the paperwork. Our VO called AND emailed the principal applicant. There might be a Paris VO thread where you could get a better idea what they do.

From what I read elsewhere, a NEGATIVE 'Decision Made' can only occur AFTER an interview (although no doubt there are exceptions). Since in your case your interview was waived, I think you are on pretty solid ground feeling optimistic. I'm pretty sure if CIC had any doubts, questions, or issues...

Yes, they called first and by the looks of it, sent the notification email at about the same time. We called them back since we weren't home and when we finally got a real person on the line they let my wife know everything was ready to be picked up. Thanks Ryathe - we're totally impressed...
