    INLANDERS!

Gor my COPR yesterday! yipee!!! The immigration officer told me that it would take 4-6 weeks for the PR card though. I have an OWP so I'm not really in a big rush to get my permanent SIN. To those who are still waiting, don't let your hopes down. Remember, patience is a virtue :)

    INLANDERS!

Thanks Jaune :) I'm in Alberta. A few hours north of Vegreville, not that it matters. LOL DOn't worry you'll get yours soon. Try calling CIC. My e-CAS wasn't updated right away either. It just so happened that I called that day and they told me the good news.

    INLANDERS!

I already paid the RPRF online about two months ago. Are there any more fees to pay? How long after (your AIP) you got a landing interview schedule? And how did you know since you didn't get the letter yet? I am just excited :)

COPR paperwork - character limit on names or spelling mistake? Advice please!

I have the same problem too. I've read somewhere in this forum months ago that it's a big trouble. Hope somebody can clear this one for us.

INLAND - Open Work Permit without PR Application

Thanks for the reply. Apparently, she will be applying inland under Spousal class after she gets the OWP. They already gave their documents to their lawyer for the OWP application. I tried explaining this to her but she refused to listen. What can I do but wish them well, I guess....

INLAND - Open Work Permit without PR Application

A friend of mine talked to a lawyer and she was advised to send an application for an OWP before her current temporary work permit expires and then do the PR app later. Is this possible? Or does she have to submit everything at the same time?

RPRF Receipt -- where to send?

I didn't really receive a letter requesting for the RPRF. I just paid it in advance 'cause I heard it'll be a 2-month delay if I wait for them to ask me to pay the fee. So I guess I have to send it to Vegreville then :) Thanks.

How much did you pay for your wedding?

I had just the kind of wedding you were planning on... - Simple, solemn civil wedding with 30 guests (very close friends and family) in the backyard - The Justice of Peace won't accept a fee so I just whipped her up a delicious dessert. - A friend of ours made the wedding cake for free -...

RPRF Receipt -- where to send?

Just paid the RPRF (I didn't pay this when I sent my application). I'm wondering if I need to mail a copy of the receipt to Vegreville or do they have a fax number or email where I can send it to? I tried calling CIC but can't seem go through the never ending queue.

    open work permit

as long as it is required by your employer, there shouldn't be a problem. our employer had us take a first aid course and a food safety certification too.
