I had provided CIC an Xpresspost return label. Looked up the tracking data for my Xpresspost tracking number on Canadapost website.

Ours was a little unusual case. Chronological chain of events as follows: March 26: PPR email received. March 27: Passports FedEx'ed. March 28: Passports delivered. April 1: CIC emailed us about missing pictures for our newborn. We never saw this email as it was filtered in to our Junk Mail...

We received our passports containing the immigrant visa yesterday along with CPR. Visa express in November, exactly 1 year from the time we did our medicals. Thank you all. I will still be checking this board from time to time and be answering questions to help out others. Good luck to all!

All members included in the application have to send their passport regardless of whether they require a visa stamp on their passport. You will be receiving specific instructions to that effect from CIC when time comes.

All those who are having trouble printing Xpresspost label, I think it is a browser issue. Try using Internet Explorer. I tried Chrome first but the credit card just would not go through. I used both, US issued as well as Canadian issued credit cards. Then tried IE and it went through right...

You don't have to stop at any check point when exiting the US. You only stop at the Canadian immigration station on the way to Canada. Similarly, while exiting Canada and entering the US, you only stop at the US immigration check-point. Hope this helps.
