Hi Folks, We got our stamped passports back today. Finally it’s done after 25 exact months, got the medicals done twice in this process. Best of luck to everyone else waiting, it should be done for everyone else waiting soon.

Hi, Just for clarification did u submit your passports at Delhi, we submitted passports for my parents through VFS on the 1st of Feb, online status says processing at High Commission. Any advise of how long would it take to get the passports back.

Hi All, Has any one in the forum dealt with vfs Chandigarh for passports submission. Any idea how long does they take to return the passports back.

Same happened with us Yeti. One Friday got the prearrival services letter and following Monday got the PPR. And the ECAS was saying decision made when we got the pre arrival services letter. You should expect PPR next week for sure.

Hi, Not sure at all what’s the criteria of picking up the files, we got the medicals done for first time in July of 2016 n the second medicals were done in mid November 2017 almost same as ur case, first medicals done here in Canada and the second ones were done in India.If ECAS says decision...

Thanks yeti, it has been a long time to see this change, certainly hope NDVO does not go to hibernation again and clear the files of all waiting, it’s not just the files but life changing event for everyone who has applied. So fingers crossed and waiting for passport call from today onwards.

May be that’s the reason, any idea Yulia how long it might take for a passport call from now. Good news indeed and this forum has been of great help.
