Moving from US and Canada bring ATV

Can I bring my 2 ATVs into Canada when I move. One is a 2005 Yamaha Grizzley 660 all original. The other is a 2000 Polaris Scrambler 500 original except for a sport exhaust (loud). Will they allow me to bring these into Canada and acquire the proper registration and insurance to be legal.

My wife has been out of Canada for over 12 years except to visit her parents a couple weeks at a time once per year so we shouldn’t pay taxes on our vehicles if I am understanding correctly. Thank you all for the info.

Yea thank you. So my wife would fall under the returning resident clause and have to pay tax on anything over $10,000??? What would be the best way to declare vehicles I have the truck, car, and rv. Can I claim all 3 vehicles under me and pay no tax or do I have to put one under her.

That’s kinda what I was thinking, all you need is that one agent having a bad day and boom it’s done. I’m so confused right now on some of these processes. You can find supporting information for whatever you can think of right or wrong. Thank you for your info it’s been quite helpful.
