I got AIP this week. I feel like it's going to be a bit longer but applications are moving.

Got mine yesterday, along with additional document requests. I need additional proof of cohabitation and a form filled out for my "police service". I worked in a prison for 15 years, I guess that counts to that officer.

Correct, I didn't have the 255 to spare at the time to add to the application. Jobs here in my field all seems to require full PR anyway, so I think I will wait the few months. I think it would be throwing money away at this point.

My money situation has been tight since I arrived in Canada so I did not include application for OWP. Should I wait until the application is complete at this point? Not sure if it matters, but I'm in Alberta.
