For us it took 5 days to get an update that SVO received her passport.

Your friend will not receive any email update once passport reached SVO. But he/she will see an update in VFS tracking website.

Your long waiting after re-med is unbearable. It does not make any sense. Did apply for any GCMS note recently? Can you have your spouse contact his local MP for an update from CIC?

My wife's passport dispatched from SVO on yesterday for Dhaka VFS. So we are waiting to hear something from VFS soon. Hopefully your spouse's status in ECAS will change to 'Decision Made' by this Friday. It may take 2 more weeks to get the passport back in hand after status changed to DM.

Actually you can contact your MP in Canada not your husband. Because you are the sponsor. Your local MP can contact CIC on your behalf and ask for an status update.
