Best time to land on Rainbow bridge, Niagara

I know that's odd. But anyways the visa issuance date was one day before the PPR email. I thought maybe they issued the visa and then wait to receive my passport and just stick it there.

Best time to land on Rainbow bridge, Niagara

I was there 3 months ago at a Saturday morning around 10 am. No one was in the line when I entered the building. After a few minutes a family came in to do their landing. So it was pretty much empty and landing took around 10-15 min.

Employer refused to provide reference letter

You can also include Notice of Assessment (NOA) from CRA and job offer email/letter from your employer if you have them. I think you need to send the explanation letter now; otherwise they may not send you AOR.

15 Months passed and no news about my CEC PR yet

My HR manager did not know what to write in the letter, so I sent her duties from the website. And then when ordered my GCMS notes, I found that first VO wrote there all duties are copied from website and there is no more details! Then sent it to second VO for review. And second VO noted there...

Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

See rawfile's post. You actually have to apply 6 months before your pr card expiry. In your case in January 2019 you have to apply for pr card renewal. So you have to be in Canada as a PR for 730 days from January 2014 - January 2019. So your waiting time actually will count.

Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Yes, you are right. I found this on the CIC website: Most PR cards are valid for five years. You should renew your card within six months of when it will expire.

Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

When your card is expired, you have to go and renew it. At that time you have to prove that in the past five years you have been in Canada for 730 days. So if your card is expired in May 2019, you have to prove that you were in Canada for 730 days from May 2014. From CIC website: Minimum...

URGENT : PR CARD not arrived yet, need to apply for a schengen visa

Why don't you show your COPR? Also you have that immigrant visa in your passport. So I think this visa plus COPR should be enough for the embassy to know that you are a PR of Canada.

Congrats! I got mine too. It seems they really process them in a queue as first come first serve. Unlike how they handle the immigration applications. Anyways now this is over and we can enjoy the summer :)

Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

No one can tell for sure if you'll get it by then or not. In the past 2-3 months CIC has changed the processing time frequently on their website. And also you have to add the time it takes to receive the card in the mail to this time.
