'A decision has been made on ######## #####'s application. The office will contact ####### ##### concerning this decision'
is this just a generic response to say the passport is on its way back?

Me and my husband are planning on landing 10th January. We will have approx £10,000 savings. Is it legal to land with 5k each in travellers cheques?
I know it sounds very risky, but was wondering?

Yaya, it sounds like you are nearly done, but once you have paid the fee they are asking for, it could take another 4-5 week for the payment to be processed.
I don't think there is anyone in London. It seems to have stopped at 'in process' looking at the other London applicants.

Thanks for the reply, I know its only been 3 weeks since the file was forwarded to London, but the waiting is a nightmare. I feel selfish for feeling like we're waiting for ages, when there are people waiting for months on end, and we are very fortunate as we live together.
