    But there shouldn't be a quota for humanitarian causes in the first place, its pure logic, you can put an estimate for logistic purposes but you can't put a quota for people who are already here. It's just pure politics at this point, something to blame for the downfall of the economy.

    Same, I know like 10 close friends plus myself n spouse who are physicians, some sub specialists....many are more qualified and know the language better than the so called economic migrants.

    How is IRCC going to process the pending 250k+ asylum seekers ones they are approved with only 56000 PR spots for the next 3 years, most of whom are probably going to be accepted, and there are already 80000 ppl waiting, excluding dependents? How are they going to handle family reunification?

    But remember the processing time is an average, doesn't hold true for everyone.

    Can you share with us your timeline and are you in the pilot program? What I have seen here is that dependents get there ppr a couple of months after the primary applicants gets the PR, and the fact your dependent did medical is a good sign.
