For me, it took exactly a week/7days.

May 6th: Submitted the Visitor Visa Application June 1st: Submitted Biometrics No Medical Exam or Interview needed

Also applied from Germany in June. Still no response. Went to the Embassy in Vienna and got no help. Out of 5 Emails and Webforms, I got one response. I dont want to be pessimistic but I suggest you look for sth else, or just wait if you can more than 3 months.
