I was curious so submitted a webform asking why have I not got test invite so far.. lol. Next called IRCC and asked which office is processing my application to which they said Mississauga. Lets see what happens next!

Got Fingerprints request yesterday and was luckily able to submit them in the evening to RCMP's agency. My AoR is Feb 26 and surprisingly neither me nor my wife has got test invite so far. We have already completed 2 months post AoR. Is this normal? I see most of the people have got test invites...

Another GU today, no updates on tracker for me but background check completed for wife which is a relief.

Got a GU yesterday. Now the profile says last updated - 17th April. AoR - Feb 26. Surprisingly, the last updated date is only for me and my wife's profile but not for my kids' profile. Is this normal?

I had applied for my parent's TRV in Jan 2021. The only movement that we could have so far was getting their biometerics completed on Aug 3rd. Is anyone sailing in same boat currently, specifically with the same timelines? Does anyone know if approvals have started coming for TRV for normal visa...

Can you please confirm if you applied for regular TRV or some other exception class? I have also applied for my parents TRV and had their biometerics completed on Aug 3rd. Have no clue on what's gonna happen next except waiting. Any suggestions on raising web form for expediting the visa? Thanks!

I had the same dilemma but thankfully my consultant alerted me to only pay in the GC key account while submitting the TRV application.

I have recently filed for parent's visitor visa, however its just stuck at Biometrics, which God knows better when will open.

I too have applied for Parent's TRV last week. Eagerly waiting for VFS to open up in India. Hopefully it opens up by March 2021. Fingers crossed.

I called Air Canada and they confirmed transiting through DOHA is permitted. That's the cheapest option without needing any transit visa (around 1275 CAD per pax).
