Ah ok. Sounds good traveling on Indian passport after grace period is not problematic afterall since people apply for visa and OCI from frro routinely. I think I will do the same thing if frro is working else just come back on Indian passport only. Thanks a lot, it was very helpful!

No need to worry at all. I think I had just 1 question from history, in which date was given and I had to figure what war happened in that year, making it easier than to remembering the date itself. Most of the questions were based on common sense and did not require to read the book at all...

Just finished my test and interview in Calgary. Got 20/20 and interview took <5 mins. Everything was done in about 20 mins. Officer just looked at my pr card and driver's license and made me sign on two documents. Not questions asked at all. Location - Calgary. Any estimated wait times for Oath...

Any response on this? Is telling them about leaving the country for studies a good idea? I am just trying to avoid flying across atlantic just to attend this oath ceremony in the middle of my studies.

Really? Even though new passport is outside of qualifying period of 5 years? Also, how do I send them a copy?

Calgary May applicants are probably looking at invites by the end of October only. I can see April applicants are yet to receive invites by the mid of September.
