No income as PR for my whole time in Canada will this be an issue?

No it will not be a problem. My application, I was unemployed for two years and self-employed for two years and I didn't have any contract at the time of my interview so the officer considered me as unemployed. She asked me about money management and how I did get by with no income, and like you...

Got my date for the test today. Am happy and nervous .

As Seym said, test is easy, study the book as much as you need and do some of the free online tests. You can finish the real test in less than 3 minutes. The interview is immediately after the test, the faster you'll finish the less time you'll wait for the interview. My advice to you is to...

Montréal Applicants Oct. 2017 after C6

I sent my app before you and got the AoR after you, I have 69 days between app received and AOR. Don't despair, patience is an important key for the citizenship application. Just keep living your life, and prepare for the test/interview.

Entry and exit plus fbi police check

As I understand you want your travel records to fill your physical presence calculator. If you can't remember you travel history, you can request you entry to US from CBP and your entry to Canada from CBSA. Canada doesn't keep track of your exits whither you travel by land or air. The US doesn't...

    Citizenship- missed flagpole day

I too forgot about it, I waited till I got my AOR and sent an letter using the webform. It would a good idea if you can get entry/exit records like I-94 from CBP, but if you can't don't stress yourself, from the look of it lot of people forget about that sneaky flagpole trip.

I went for a long walk to come back to C6 becoming a law!!!! If I knew I'd have gone for a long walk a long time ago. Now that C6 is no longer a bill I urge you all, once you are citizens, to exercise your right to vote, I'm not asking you to vote for the Liberals but to simply vote for...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

We'll have two new threads one "C-6 implementation ... FACT ONLY" by spyfy with the occasional remainder that is facts only, and one "C-6 implementation stage Hopes and despairs - dreams and cotton candy" full of the usual pessimism, optimism, and in-between.

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

C24 took a year to implement meanly because they needed to train immigration employees to take life changing decisions that'll impact thousands of people each year. Pre-C24 it was a judge who decides who will get what. C6 decision making approach is the same as C24, so it will not take long to...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

*Unrelated to c6* Something like this is usual? Can a bill pass just because most MPs of a party are absent?
