I don’t remember exactly but I think you choose the option- other and then you can put out of status and, then for the dates- you put the dates when your status expired till the date of today. I am not sure , please wait if someone else can answer your question.

I think processing time was used to be 17 months in last year and now it is 21 months.

Oh , I did it in 2021 for me and my husband and may be rules have been changed now. Did you tried to contact BLS or you can ask for exemption?
