yup I think single is much faster since I dont have to wait for my family to do medical and wait for LC2. but dont worry I think right now it is a fast processing.

I got an interview this coming february 10, 2014. it is by letter mail 1st letter for eligible December 12, 2013 2nd letter to pay the 490.00 Fee Jan 5 2014 thanks God I am so happy!!!

Got AIP dec 12 2013. 2nd letter to pay 490.00 january 5 2014. Then got a mail letter today for my interview on feb 10 2014. Yahoo i am so happy :)

@VILLAGEHUA ---my work permit for live-in caregiver already expired but my open work permit will expire nov. 26, 2016 so its a 4 year term open work permit and I guess by that time I already got my permanent residency...i read in the forum that you will just submit a form for open work permit...
