I see. I was under the impression that the extension would be a year after the expiry date of the current work permit (September 2019 in this case) rather than one year from now. Are you sure about this? If so then you're right, I'm better off waiting till August. Thanks!

I haven't received an 'approval in principle' though, my application is still stuck in the background processing check. Should I answer 'yes' regardless?
