Thanks, do you see people walking in with expired PR's now and able to successfully renew their PR in their 7th year? For example, Indian citizen comes to CN, signs paperwork, collects PR, leaves to US next day and have NEVER lived in canada in next 5 years , so forget meeting any 730 day...

I disagree with what most of the folks suggested here, people with EXPIRED PR's have entered Canada successfully and then got it renewed after living their for 2 years (meaning in their 7th year from the 1st time they received their PR).

I landed on 20 July, 2015 and PR cards delivered to relative's canadian address on 25th September, so you can do the math

Thanks, but in the past 40 years or so we have never heard US change anything for a GC or US Citizen, so once you are done, you are done....so the canadian citizenship being better seems invalid
