I see you guys still don't understand it...this is Canada, where everyone sues anyone out of nothing, of course, they want you the applicant to confirm their personal email, the one on file could be old, access by someone else, etc. Better be safe than sorry (or sued).

Update: Just received the portal credentials email today, uploaded the photo and information requested.

Same, received portal email on jun 5th, replied the same day and that’s it. Haven’t hear back from them

That's a totally different case bud, I personally have no knowledge about the paper-based process just that normally it takes way longer. Maybe try posting in another thread more appropriate to your case and situation? Good Luck
