The new TR to PR policy doesn't stops you from changing employer so you can quit your job and get another one if you like but you don't necessarily need to be employed. You only need to be employed at the time of application submission.

Finally received my PR card today. PR Card application approved on March 2 Mail came from CPC-Sydney Thank you everyone for keeping me sane for the past few months and good luck to anyone who is still waiting.

I also applied in person from Brampton and it's already been 9 business days but still no news on my health card.

The card takes about 4 to 6 weeks to arrive by mail. I am also waiting for my health card.

I uploaded it in the PR confirmation portal.

No. My application was approved yesterday so I am guessing the card was also mailed yesterday. The status doesn't really say when it was mailed but just states that it was mailed and that I should get it in next 6 weeks or less.

You can count days toward Citizenship from the date you became PR which is also mentioned in your eCoPR.

I got my eCoPR through PR confirmation portal. Yesterday I tried to link my PR Card application to my IRCC profile as someone suggested in this forum and I was able to link it successfully.

It's weird but there is another date inside the application which is the application received date and it's the same as date when I became PR and got my eCoPR.

If you are applying for the first time then it's in person only but if you are applying for a renewal then you can do it online but you must fullfil their online renewal eligibility criteria. You can check their online renewal eligibility criteria here...
