Hi Peter, it's the DM date, no need for a visa because I'm already here and exempt anyway. The DM just moved to the line below the date because the preset formatting doesn't really work well for us inlanders.

Any more news yet anyone? I got my landing appointment letter from the local office today, just 3 days after DM. Letter is dated 1 day after DM. I will land the 2nd week of December. Christmas as a PR! We couldn't be any more delighted, wrapping up the year with this long and drawn out process...

Hang in there folks, I was in the same situation, according to CIC, MP, and the information I ordered nothing was missing and no one had ANY explanation why my file wasn't moving. And then it happened: Today, on a Sunday afternoon, I get my DM mail after almost 2 years. Ecas hasn't updated yet...

It's been exactly 8 months for me this weekend. I called a few months back to update my email address and to ask whether my new medical had ever been received. They requested it when I got AIP in September, I did it in the 3rd week of September, and my ECAS never updated with "medical received"...

Just to add to the work permit discussion, I got my OWP a couple of days ago and it's valid for 2 years. I sure hope it won't take this long to get my 2nd stage. They also requested that I redo my medical, and I'm sitting at the xray place as I write this.
