Does anyone have any kind of information for the masters in data science and analytics program at Ryerson ? Would a supervisor be needed ? Also I would like to know how good it would be to take up this course at Ryerson.

Is it possible to extent the Master's program beyond a year and hence get a 3 year work permit ?

But everyone usually says getting a 3 year work permit is safer right?? Then why would you say a 1 year work permit is better?

Well my opinion is if you have atleast a little work experience then it is beneficial to you in finding a job. You could then take up the job and try to join for winter or may 2016 intake. So you would have a few months experience as well. But the ultimate decision is yours so you make a wise...

Yes i got a conditional offer letter. I need to submit my final semester mark list and my degree certificate as well to get the unconditional offer letter. However you can apply with your marks up to the 7th semester as well and once you have the other documents you may upload them. Good luck !

Im not very sure about that bro. Maybe you should just have a look at their site again or you could ask them via an email. The application process is quite simple however. You can ask me if you have any other problems regarding the applications. :D

In Uvic you will first need to find a supervisor who would accept you. You need to explain your previous work to a professor and if he accepts you then you can go ahead with the application by giving your marks up to the 7th Semester and other required documents like ielts, LOR's etc.
