    Sponsoring husband from Morocco

Hello everyone, it's been awhile since I've visited here but I decided to have a look-see. You may remember me as the non-Rabat applicant who hung out in this thread because I can relate to being married to a Moroccan! I just checked Habibti's last message and was absolutely ecstaticly thrilled...

Totally meant to say extra 250 dh not $. I'll be blaming daylight savings time on that one lol.

The one time I looked at that spreadsheet, it was apparent that awor disaggregated the cases based on who was in Canada at the time they applied and who wasn't. Possibly a way to test whether there was some relationship between being sent to NYC/LA/SEA/DET and being inside or outside the country.

Ah, well if the extra $250 is going for DHL, that explains it. You have a good point about not taking chances with the Moroccan postal system if it truly is that bad- like Dair isn't irritated enough that she needs a lost medical on the way to Paris.

That really sucks that the mail delivery in Morocco is not reliable. But I still say you should try. I would be making a copy of every letter before it goes in the postal box for appeal evidence purposes anyway. If he doesn't get the letter, you have the copy to read over the phone. And tell...

I don't know if I can answer your questions about the evidence. In my opinion, a receipt would obviously be a lot more convincing than a line on the bank statement because it shows the item purchased as well as the store and the date, but if you don't have that, bank statement is obviously...

That's exactly right what she/you said, articulated beautifully. If the msn's make it worse, then just stop. Maybe you can go old-school for a month and send each other letters by mail (don't forget to spray them with perfume, lol). You'll feel very romantic and old-fashioned doing it. No but...

I'm so sorry to hear this, Fatima. We're all praying for you and your husband to cope with this as best you can.

Yeah, the notes are pretty valuable just for seeing things like that, aren't they? I'm assuming these specific notes about the "lack" of party and "long" wait to file were made pre-interview and not in response to info supplied at the interview? Anyway. You've got an edge looking at them right...

I'm praying for you, Habibti. For what it's worth, when I was "dating" my husband over the phone we would get into some painful fights too, and just like you I would wonder, "why isn't this person meeting me half way?". When we were living together married, the first year we got into some pretty...

I was generally familiar with the baksheesh/rashwa thing over there but just didn't expect it to spread to doctor's offices that were actually selected to work with Canadian Immigration. But I guess she figured since she can't quite solicit a bribe for creating favorable medical results no...
