They send certificate after they close the case only? I thought they have some time limit on when to send the certificate? Because basically you are limit onto how you can prove that you are legally in Canada?

Passed the oath today. 123 persons were there. Now awaiting for the certificate! I hope it comes quick, but I guess now I can say officially I am a canadian lol?

Today's oath had 123 new citizens. Everything went smooth, agents worked quick. We were finished by the lunch time. Now awaiting for the certificate. I guess that now I can officially say, I'm a Canadian? lol

Office independent but before the covid you would wait for the officer to validated and ask you a questions before the oath, that's why there is a column for interview. So I don't think this speed has changed a bit, but the waiting until the events, has changed quite a lot for most of the...

Interesting question for those who already received the email about the oath or passed it. When does email arrive? it has been 2 days since the update and 12 before the actual oath and I have nothing?
