@cansha thank you for your response. since we have waited this long for the PPR, we have decided that we might as well take some more time before we move there permanently. it will be challenging to manage the newborn in the winter there so might as well land in the coming summer.

@cansha We finally just recd our RFV request today and expect that it will have an expiry of March 2023 (our current medical exam was passed on March 9, 2022). However, we are expecting our second child in Oct/Nov 2022; will IRCC re-issue COPRs with longer validity if we do upfront exams for all...

@TheMapleDream @Lizgeo @sfvan We just recd the RFV today. The journey has finally come to an end. AOR was Oct 13, 2018. I then added my spouse (Jan 2020) and kid (Dec 2021) to the application. We are now expecting another kid in Nov 2022, so will be travelling after adding our child to the...

@Morahh in this situation, even if they issue this COPR, it will have to be cancelled as your family composition has changed. It is surprising it has reached the PPR stage but clearly they missed out on your communication. Once your spouse is added, you should see him/her in the "View...

@Morahh can you clarify what is the issue here. do you mean IRCC has not added your spouse yet to the application? or they did not send a PPR for your spouse even though he/she was a dependent in the application?

@chiragjoshi when did you last ask for CBSA/GCMS notes. I too have been waiting for a long time but there has been movement in my application since June 2022. It seems they are trying to clear the old files - perhaps you should take a chance.

@amyung please keep following-up via webform with them for addition of spouse. Once done, you should see an update on your portal. It generally happens in a month's time

@legalfalcon i just want to know whether to add our child IRCC will re-open the file if a COPR does get issued in the interim period before birth. We want to avoid the sponsorship route if possible; it would be best to land as a family and get the PR status activated.

@legalfalcon My case has been in processing since Oct 2018. We are in a similar situation, although COPR or PPR has not been issued yet to us. We are expecting our second child this Oct/Nov and wanted to have it in our home country. IRCC added our first child to the application in Feb 2022 and...
