2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

Don’t stress about what the call centre agent told you, I'm assuming you're a dependent on the file; for dependents, the system doesn't show a Final Decision (FD) until the officer actually generates the eCOPR document. Agents on the phone just read off that screen, so they see "no FD" and...

2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

I don't think that would be a problem, if you have provided a different email address on your application they will email that one in case they wisht to send a separate P1 email, other than that any updates would be sent to PA's email address as you were included in the application from day one...

2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

Wow it's outrageous Weren't they supposed to process dependents simultaneously as the PA's application? The fact that we can't even track dependents file is more exhausting I'm sure you'll hear from them one of these days

That's ridiculous! If they could have just simply be more transparent; shared every step and notes with a proper timeline, would have avoided this much of frustration, phone calls to their office, webforms and ATIP note requests Hope you hear from them very soon

2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

Hi everyone, Has anyone here recently received an eCOPR for inland dependents? What did your timeline look like between the primary applicant's confirmation and the dependent's eCOPR? Do inland dependents need to complete any extra steps, or is it strictly a waiting game? It feels completely...

2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

Hi there, I had this exact same issue! The PR Confirmation Portal is actually the same website where your initial PR application was submitted (before you linked it to GCKey). Because you used a representative, they likely created that original account using your email address. That is why the...

I'm really sorry to hear that. It’s frustrating because they often delay files for what seems like no reason at all. You could look into applying for mandamus to force a decision, but be careful. I’ve heard recently that if your file is stuck in comprehensive security screening, the court will...

2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

On my application it did; after few weeks it turned in to "we received additional documents you provided" (I also received an email for this part) and few weeks after that it changed into "we are reviewing additional documents you provided" But for some people it doesn't change at all. you can...
