i got my ecopr on july, i sent a mail to ircc abt card update, they mailed me back that they sent the card back because of production error. what does it means? any one know how long will it take?

I have a valid work permit till next year. I submitted my passport for Temporary residence visa ( because i want to go vacation and back) last two times i got stamped as worker when i apply for trv. But this time it say’s Visitor. Will it make any issue? Can i reapply? Thanks in advance
