PR card arrived today. Landed: Aug 1 Issued: Aug 10 Mailed: Aug 13 Arrived: Aug 20 Now it's officially over. :)

Seems like the card is issued no more than 2 weeks after your landing, I heard it's faster if you landed via interview in the office (next day or so).

Card hasn't arrived yet. According to GCKey, it was issued on Aug 10 and mailed on Aug 13. Hoping tomorrow is here (one week). I guess they send through the cheapest option, regular mail without tracking. I wish there was at least tracking for such an important document.

Last Saturday I got a GU and now I got an update today saying the PR card got mailed. From the info on GCKey that GU happened on the day the card got issued. Hopefully by this week it gets delivered, but since it’s regular mail without tracking maybe it will be next week.

The counterfoil is the immigrant visa they stick to your passport. That's part of the package when you receive your passport back and the CoPR. Once you land, the officer will cross that visa and you use the CoPR as proof of PR until you get your PR card.

CIC work in mysterious ways. At least we're all approved and it's a matter of time. Hoping my passport gets home by Friday so I can go land at the border during the long weekend here in Alberta.

Just checked my GCKey, application approved today! Now waiting for return tracking number to get activated. Interesting to see that now that the application was approved in the GCKey, the background check and eligibility check show a date when they got passed. They were both passed one year ago...
