It's entirely by email to the principal applicant. The actual letter is a PDF attachment. ECAS changes to decision made while gckey stays the same, still saying "we are processing...".

It comes in an email. GC Key shows nothing, but the ecas system shows "Decision Made" for the principal applicant either right before or right after that email.

No, they inserted a new #2 entry of "We started processing your application on June 20", just below the old #1 "We received your application on..". Then #3 about the PCC correspondence from April, and #4 about the medical results.

Me too! We were quite prepared to wait for this to take at least a year. Even if it's another couple of months before all's done and dusted, we're happy. Hoping for good news for others on the boards this month. :) Clearly, they're working away at the piles in those offices.

My wife's status has just changed to DM in ecas today. We're another outland Feb 6th application handled through Mississauga instead of an overseas VO. :) PPR hasn't made it to her email yet but we suspect it's imminent. Nothing's changed on the CIC page yet - "Your application is in progress...

Reading through this thread, I'm not sure there is a timeline. Some people wait more than a year with their applications in Mississauga, though that seems to be the exception and every case is unique. From my reading, 1-3 months looks to be more typical, which would put the whole process as...

I agree with Forte. We applied by mail from the other side of the world in February and the time to get into their system was a few weeks, not months. You may want to have a serious conversation with your lawyer.

My wife's application has shown to be "in process" on ecas for over a month but we only got the Mississauga VO transfer letter this week. Anyway, we're considering the letter to be a good sign.
