    Your company is not an immigration agency, they cannot ask you to leave the country. They may ask CIC to revoke your WP but until then your WP is valid.

    According to Operational Bulletin 485-A, The WP is to be valid for the duration of one year from the date of issuance. My BOWP was issued for 9 months only but this was my mistake because I forgot to renew my passport and WP is always issued to the date of passport expiration.
