I keep googling timelines from photo & address submission to ECOPR, it seems like until a few months ago it would literally take one or two days... It's just so profoundly sad, that even after an application is approved, they still make you wait this long... It's nuts.

It's a pretty strange part of the process to put on hold... As you say, at this point everyone would have been approved already anyway, it's just confirming a photo (which even a computer could do)

For sure it would need to be when the eCoPR is actually issued.

Any news for you? I got my email invitation on the 6th, responded on the 13th, I even resent it since, I've not heard anything back.

Ground crews are the worst. I travel all the time, and the complete lack of consistency in enforcing these rules is shocking. No airline ever asked me for my eta number and earlier this year in Phoenix someone almost refused me boarding at the gate because I couldn't find my original email...

Thank you for your input! I've also reached out to our immigration lawyer we used to put the application pack together to see if she can help confirm. It's a pretty important trip so wiggling out of it would be last resort, but hey... I'll post the results here just in case anyone else winds up...
