Hi everyone, just an update. My brother and I arrived in Canada late July and he immediately obtained his SIN and applied for OSAP. Happy to say he got approved and its now in the final stages. He already got a notice of how much he will get and when he should expect to receive it.

I was sponsored by my parents who own their own business. If your cousin is your only sponsor you have no choice but to go with that, but I do not really think a cousin or even aunts or uncles are considered strong sponsors for student visa.

I applied early in February, got offer that same month. Applied for my visa March 19th and received my visa on March 30th. I guess Ive been lucky. Hope you get your offer soon.
