My husband just received his visa to immigrate to Canada as a PR and I was looking at prices of plane tickets and it seems cheaper to get a return. Is he able to come here on a return ticket so he can save money or will that look bad when he arrives?

He did not have an interview they just asked him many questions about our relationship over the phone. Hope this is helpful. If you answer them well they won't ask for an interview.

Actually I emailed the embassy for where my husbands application was being processed (and we were within the timeline) and they called him the next day to take his visa.

Doesn't matter anymore cuz my husband got called to day to come get his visa!!!! In total our timeline was 4 months and 9 days.

Around the same time they asked for more documents it said on e-cas medical results have been received and I thought they said that when it was close to finalizing? I don't understand?

I reviewed many timelines on here and it seems that when they update the status as "Medical Results Received" that they are close to finalizing the application. Just not sure if there is much truth to that or not? Any suggestions?

Just curious as to why they would ask for additional documents and a lot of them being the same as what they already had.

Just wondering if anyone here has sponsored a spouse of knows of timelines for sponsoring a spouse from Turkey. I would really appreciate any information since I have not seen my husband in 8 and a half months. We sent the application over 4 months ago and the timeline is supposed to be 3 to 6...
