I'll join the "lets see how long it takes" game. Faxed Solemn Declaration on Nov 16, I'll let you know when we get the card.

Initial PR Card Not Received (8+ months)

@chowdharyh I agree with this reply. We also updated the address (around Sept 2) when we moved, and it still got sent to our old address on Sept 22. I just found out that information now that I got through the IRCC phone#, so we will send the Solemn Declaration and hope we get the PR Card in our...

PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

Yeah, April 14 COPR here.. I was finally able to get through IRCC phone # and they said that the card was mailed on Sept 22. So we'll send the Solemn Declaration and see how long it takes to get it.

Initial PR Card Not Received (8+ months)

Has any of you been able to find out if your PR card was actually issued? We got the PR on April and still nothing. We changed address so we are worried that it got sent to the old one, so we wanted to see which address is in the system and went to the link Address notification form...

TRV refused for spouse of Canadian citizen, need advice

I don't know if it applies for TRV but, have you looked into the meaning of dual intent? It might work to apply for a second TRV and explain that you have a Spousal Sponsorship in process, but that if for any reason it were to be refused, you (your spouse) would leave the country. Of course...

    Question

If you have a full-time job that will be at least 6 months (or a permanent position for that matter), you can apply for OHIP: "You must also meet at least one of the following additional requirements. You: [...] * are in Ontario on a valid work permit and are working full-time in Ontario, for...

    POLICE CERTIFICATE MEXICO

I upvote the getting it done through someone in Mexico, if possible. Ours took over 4 months (we did it through the Embassy), and we saw people in other forums for which it took around 8 months... if you don't mind the wait it's ok, but I think it's worth it to get someone in Mexico to help you...

    POLICE CERTIFICATE MEXICO

Don't know for sure, my guess would be that they won't accept it. Have you looked at fingerprinting agencies? Doing fingerprints is their whole business. You can see in their website if they do ink fingerprints; if they don't state that specifically, search if they mention doing fingerprints...

Highest level of education - IMM0008

Yes, that sounds reasonable. In some places like Mexico (and I assume Bangladesh), Med School is a degree so it would make sense to put Post Secondary - No degree like you suggested. I mentioned "Post Graduate - No Degree" in case it was like in Canada and USA, where usually Medical School is a...
