    Though it is asked you dont need to do any medicals. .You can use the medical report from when you made your claim or the instruction letter.

    You can renew your wp while waiting for a hearing And its free for refugee claimants. due to the long processing times these days would recommend doing it 2-3 months before the current one expires .

    you should not be asked for criminal record while extending your work permit as a protected person. You wont be able to submit your application if all required documents are not attached.
