As I mentioned in my previous post I think the whole point is about obtaining a study permit on basis of your current status which is not lost. What is the point of applying for a study permit while you already have one ? I mean your existing status is student ?

You are right but I think the term short term course refers to a course less than 6 mounths which is possible whith temporary visitor visas in which you are allowed to stay in canada in a 6 mounths period . But given the fact that I indeed have a valid study permit which allows me to take...
