    Hi, I don't think it will take 29 months, remember London is the visa office for lots of different country's. If you are a British citizen you can expect the whole process to be done in around 15-21 months, this includes the MPNP application and assumes everything goes without a hitch. I know...

    Unfortunately that's the million dollar question, the answer is how long is a piece of string? Each visa office has different processing times. If your application is in process with a date when they started processing then I would say 4 months from that date or maybe less. Regards Andrew

    Hi all, Just wanted to let you know that I received PPR email from London today. We landed in Canada last wed with a 6 month visitor record, looks like we will not need 6 months. All that is left is a trip to the US border to activate COPR :D Good luck to all Regards Andrew

    Nothing to report from me, we had medicals 8 weeks ago, e-cas changed to medicals received on 14 June, waiting for a Decision to be made and hopefully PPR. Regards Andrew

    Is this true Tax Exemption in Canada?

    You become tax resident the day you activate your COPR. You will as a new PR, get some foreign tax credits. You should insert the date you became PR on your first newcomers tax return. All world income after this date will be taxed in Canada. Regards Andrew
