Thanks! We are on OPT after the study visa. And I think visitor visa goes to Ottawa, and work visa goes to NY/LA.

Here is our timeline (from US): First application - GC key - April 6 2021 Biometrics - April 26th Second application - GCkey - October 27th Third application - IRCC portal - October 28th PPR from IRCC portal - today (Nov 3rd).

Our open work permit is still waiting since Sep 6th, but today we just received PPR from the visitor visa!

No, we applied on our own. And we were only being able to check through IRCC website and GCkey. We tried to call IRCC and filled the webform, but it was not helpful...

Hello there! We applied the Spouse Open Work Permit in the U.S. on Sep. 6th, and biometrics was done in the previous application. And we still didn't hear anything yet.... It's stressful that my husband's U.S. visa is also expiring... We have 3 more weeks of waiting time before he has to leave...
