Hi all, can someone suggest after landing on Canada grounds as a PR how long does it take to receive the actual PR CARD itself? Boy, does immigration matters take time, but the moment you mess up, its letters after the other or garnish!

I totally agree their all selfish and bias in there. I wish if it was an option to take it in to POS ourselves. And we darn well know mails from Trinidad to Guyana takes a week or less. But what to argue, dem people dis like God, only dem can make the decision.

Hi Forum, I spoke to a relative who went through this passport pickup via GEO recently and she said it took her 7weeks to receive back her passport. Lets see guys.. :-X

Yeah its definitely not anything to worry about. Its all a whole system update. Was scared though! BTW, we're still waiting for a final good news. How long do they usually take to return back the passport guys after receiving all the documents? Less than a month?

OMG GUYS! The same very thing happened to me, it just says when they receive the file and when they started processing all the medical stuff got removed... what the heck?? I guess its 3 of us in here with that problem.. wonder why..... I'm waiting for them to let my hubby know when to pickup...

So family, We're still waiting on these people over there to send back my Hubby's Guyana passport with the beautiful Canada visa on it :-\ I wonder how long it'll take them on this one. They requested the Passport, 1 passport size photo and the redo of his medical, then weeks after emailed...

Congrats to those who have landed and good luck to the ones waiting.. My hubby got his PP REQUEST in January, and after sending in his PP and redo of medical, after the IO decided that he/she decided to ask for a new Police clearance......... damn ppl I tell you.. Now, it's gonna be 2wks this...

So sorry to hear about this devastating news Star Apple. I can only imagine what you and your husband is going through. Do get a PROPER, QUALIFIED IMMIGRATION LAWYER to appeal your case ASAP. My prayers are with you.
