Hey all, just wanted to give a quick update - my fiance received his COPR via mail on December 2. We've been super super lucky during this process and I wish the same luck for all of you!!! I hope you all hear some great news during the holidays and new year.

My fiancé just received a request from the Paris visa office to pay the RPRF! I'm hoping this means that no interview will be required.

Hi all, my fiancé just received a request from CIC to pay the second fee (for $490.) what does this mean in terms of his application? Currently his ecas shows 3 items: 1. We received your application on ... 2. We started processing on ... And 3. Medical results received. Any insight is...

I got "Medical results received" today or yesterday as well :\ looks like my celebration was a liiiiiittle premature as it seems to have been a system-wide update.

If there are some forms that don't apply to you (i.e. Use of a Representative), write "N/A" on the checklist so that the CIC officer doesn't assume that you just forgot to include it. I've read of a few people leaving the tick box blank and then having their entire application returned to them...

AOR - acknowledgement of receipt - it's a letter sent by the Mississauga visa office stating that they've received your sponsorship application. AOR2 - the second acknowledgement of receipt, sent by the visa office that will be processing your application (if you're applying Outland) SA -...

A little update - both our Sponsorship Application Status and PR Application Status are now "In Process" - no new lines for either though, and I've heard that Paris doesn't issue AOR2s.

So confusing. As of now my PR application status is still stuck at "Application received" - it seems like they're moving your application along nicely but not bothering to tell you anything about it :/ I would definitely call as soon as they update the processing times just for the peace of mind!

I think that's the issue then. When you resubmit make sure to indicate why you've omitted that form on the checklist (and any other forms that you're not including, ie dependent children forms) - just an 'N/A' should do. Otherwise the CIC will assume that you forgot to include the form. I hope...

Ugh, so frustrating. You shouldn't have to complete that form of you're not using a representative (obviously). We wrote "NOT APPLICABLE" on both checklists over that box and didn't submit the form at all, although I've read that some people include the form but strike through it to indicate...
