Well, from my understanding and a word I had with a inmigration lawyer once you apply for OWP along with the PR, it will change the status. With that being said if your partner is granted with the OWP will be OK under work status, so you will not need to apply for an extention.

Hi everyone, I sent my application for PR+OWP Sent via fedex: June 14th/19 Received by CIC: June 17/19 AOR: July 26/19 My wife (sponsor) receive the email confirmation for my PR but I have not received anything in regards PR Nor OWP, Does anybody know if they send the Aor separetaly?
