Finally received the PR Card so now this whole process is over.... :D

They haven't received it in their office yet either but if they do will forward it to use the same day. I don't trust anything CIC Call centre tells us. They told us the opposite of what actually happened before like when we got DM letter in email when they told us it was sent to consultant in...

CIC Call Centre agent said that they sent the card to the address of our consultant on January 30. I thought they send it to your residential address!

Still waiting for the PR card to arrive...hopefully it comes very soon because we booked our vacations and leaving on March 4th! I figured three months would be enough to allow for PR card to show up but it is starting to make me a bit nervous. I hope it comes next week!

We got tired of waiting for landing interview too, after three months waiting no landing letter. My wife went to the immigration office and spoke to someone there and the immigration officer phoned her two hours later to set up a landing appointment. She told us when we went for the landing...

My wife had the landing appointment last Thursday... Well it has been almost 2 years, we sent the application just after new Year in 2012. Anyway, we are happy we will be able to travel out of Canada again soon. Can't wait to go visit somewhere warm... We never did receive the landing letter but...

We went to the local office to see whether we could speed things up a bit. The Immigration officer wasn't in but we left details with the security officer and she left a note on the officers desk. By the time we got home there was a message from the IO that our landing appointment is tomorrow!

The Agent told my wife to phone them again after 4 months after getting DM and then they can put a request in to the local office and inquire on the status of the landing appointment. That will be December 18th for us.

Still no landing letter and its been over three months. we are only one month away from being two years into this process...we sent the application just after the new year in January 2012.
