    What's the point of Ecas?

I'm pretty sure ECAS was used before EE. So people could check on their status :)

    Help regarding Spouse

No. As long as she's of legal age to marry. Just ensure you have the proof that you aren't marrying for convenience.

    Help regarding Spouse

I have no idea actually. The CRS calculator would answer that though. I doubt it though, as the reason you score less as an individual being married is because your spouse should be able to make up those points (with CELPIP, ECA, work experience, etc.), and a Canadian spouse wouldn't add to them.

    Help regarding Spouse

A Canadian spouse won't give you any points. A Canadian obviously has Canadian Education, language, and work experience... You may get points for adaptability through the FSW program - I think it's minimal though. Possibly 5 points. If your girlfriend wants to marry you to keep you in the...

Waiting isn't fun... However, they have given the expectation that EE will be within 6 months (24 weeks) from when they received a complete application. Be patient, your time (and the rest of ours) will come soon!

Yes, I did. I talked to someone at CIC and they said that was the best option. Apparently not though!! Lol. I'm hopeful it will be soon. I applied May 1, so hopefully any day now!

IEC applying for PR and Implied Status

Yup, this was just in April this year. I'm back home now waiting "patiently" for PR. And yes, you are allowed to stay as a tourist for 6 months however, you have to satisfy the officer you will leave at the end of your visa and show you have significant ties to your home country and my interest...
