Congrats!! Personally I don't see many benefits to the paper cert unless you wish to frame it, asides from this there isn't a lot IMO. Paper takes 2-4 weeks to receive. E-Cert takes 5 days takes to receive. I assume the paper option is on a nicer bit of a card. If you wish to frame this, that...- Can-Brits

No they kept 1 of my original passports photos with the stamp and guarantor on the back, then took the 2 new ones. the lady just held onto everything, and asked me to run downstairs get a pic and come back and hand it to her, very easy!- Can-Brits

We just submitted our passport applications in person at the downtown Toronto office, so I thought I’d share a quick overview and some tips. The whole process took about 1.5 hours. Received the how to download certificate email this morning at 6AM. Logged in and we were both able to download our certificates!!! Submitted our passport apps tomorrow!- Can-Brits

They said they sent out the instructions 24-48 after the oath on how to download it. They will tell you, but it’s just the name of the officer who admits you into the ceremony. There is an email listed in the oath invite that you sent the oath form too. It lasted about an hour.- Can-Brits

Yep. We didn’t mention about about the ceremony type in the email. They just responded and said we’ve cancelled your current virtual ceremony and put you onto the next available virtual ceremony after you return- Can-Brits
