The answer may sound discouraging to you. The January 2014 applicants are still waiting for their test dates, so it could be over half a year. Hopefully it's less than that! Cheers

Thanks smrit! I have been checking the shared status spreadsheets for 2014 September and October applicants. What I realize is that it only takes approximate 3 or 4 months for the Sydney office to dispatch the applications to their local offices now. Those whose local offices are in the GTA...

If you see the timelines of those applications, which can now be access online, you will realize that they were all received on Jan 2. Patient my friend, we are definitely in the queue. Cheers!

Hi folks, I just got the AOR today for the parents sponsorship application, which resumed at the beginning of this year. My application got received on Jan 9th. The AOR was sent from 'CIC-Email-Communications-CPCM (CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca)', and it stated my application had been accepted as one...

And if your application was received on the 7th and you haven't heard anything since then, that can be a good indication that your application is accepted. Good luck!
