Congrats Fiza! I also saw in another post that your hubby will be joining next week. All the best! My wife returned to India and submitted her passport last week. Just today VFS updated on their site that her pp has been dispatched from NDVO to VFS office. By the end of this week she too would...

Not good riddance but f^%k riddance. Finally they are thrown out but they still have an absolute majority in AB probably because of Harper's influence. Anyways All the best Mr.Trudeau and deal immigration and economy fairly.

Indeed... time for change. I believe liberals are ahead in Atlantic Canada and hope it's same everywhere i.e. conservatives out of power. I casted that important ballot of mine. Was so simple and flawless process. Compare it with what I saw in India last year.... :o Hope you too voted Fiza.

Congrats Fiza about your hubby's interview that went well on the 12th. I learnt it from my wife; I was just caught up with work and had no respite. Hence the delay. Hope they send the coveted letter soon so that you both can be in each other's company. My wife's status is still the same. No...

You still have 5 more months to go as per the processing times. I would suggest you not to worry or think too much about this. We filed ours in April 2014 and in June 2015 it changed to IN PROCESS and so far we are out of luck. Same status every day so much so we have stopped seeing the CIC's...

It appears that you are a Quebec applicant applying under the federal skilled workers program. Is that right? if so, then this question should be posted in a relevant forum as this forum mainly deals with Family class sponsorship. In case someone replies then good else we may not be equipped to...

There is no time frame set as to when to or not to order. Seeing your timeline it's a good time to order now. Will cost u 5$ and takes 30 days for the notes to be released. All the best!

MP enquiry is fine but in our experience it has hardly yielded results.

Yeah, you can send a formal cover letter informing them that you are now a proud Canadian. Just enclose your citizenship certificate (the small ID card kind of certificate) and also the big paper certificate that they CIC gives you informing NDVO to update the details. I think that will suffice.

Hi Fiza: Congrats on receiving your letter. It's been a long wait (not to mention that NDVO's processing is now 17 months). This evening my wife was telling me that you have received your call letter and we really pray that your hubby gets his visa very very soon and you both start a new innings...

No ways will the PR visa be delayed if you are in Canada on a TRV. My wife is here on TRV and another 2 months it will be 2 yrs of our marriage and so far no PR visa yet; well, that's life at times :-)

Thanks buddy! TRV = Temporary Resident Visa (aka tourist visa). You can get all the details for the same by visiting www.cic.gc.ca and look for visa for visit purposes. Good luck!
