It's done! I had my ceremony yesterday and can proudly call myself Canadian now :D Thank you all for the support and may your journey come to a happy ending soon!

I called the CIC number and informed the call centre agent of my travel plans in advance and she said that they appreciated that and the note will be in my file and nothing will be scheduled during my absence. Worked well for me :)

It's pretty random. For my test Ecas was updated first, then the letter came. For my oath only a letter came, Ecas still hasn't been updated. I am just confused when people say the oath letter is red? All pages in my oath letter were just regular white paper.

I just received my oath letter (Hallelujah!!) and it says Nov 10 at 8 AM. I wanted to check if this is the same time the public should show up so I know when to tell me friends to arrive. To my surprise CIC doesn't have a ceremony listed for that time at all! Only one at 1:30 PM on that day...

Finally got my oath letter for Nov 10, Ecas was not updated. The whole process took only 8 months, I am pretty impressed!

Just got my Oath invite today for November 10. Soooo happy! ;D

Vancouver moves things along quickly but seems to be backlogged for oath dates :-[

Thank you, thecoolguysam! Is there any indication what "Decision made" means time wise? I tried to see if there are any stats on how far the oath is once the status has been changed.

Hi IN888658S, I wish :) The last line is still my interview line. Seeing all the Vancouver cancellations makes me think there's quite a lot of people in front of me.
