As Cifi mentions, CELPIP is ridiculously hard on the writing piece. I'm a native English speaker and I got 12/12/11/8 with the 8 in writing, had to redo the test and with weeks of prep I still only got up to a 9 on my writing. Try using the below link to prepare, he is pretty clear and simple...

I ended up getting 12/12/11/9 - the 9 bumped my score up to 479 from 447. Was worthwhile for me.

Naa I work full time, so 37.5 hours a week, note there mentions they don't accept additional hours after 30 for full time.

I debated it, but I have to fly to Vancouver to do the test as I'm in Whitehorse and CELPIP has more dates available. Unfortunately they win and take more of my money.

Yeah I looked into that as I already have 12 months of Canadian experience but I wouldn't reach 2 years until September this year which will be a month after my visa ends.
