Can you get points for a course that's less than one year?

Okay. Thank you! If I did a year long course that was online and based in Canada, would that count?

But if it's done from Canada, you can't get the ECA.

Can you get points for a course that's less than one year?

This is through the International Career Institute: https://www.icieducation.ca/ So they have an office in Canada, so perhaps it counts as a Canadian qualification?

Can you get points for a course that's less than one year?

The education goes from High School graduation (worth up to 30 points) to "One-year degree, diploma or certificate from a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute" (worth up to 90 points). If you do a 14 week course that results in a certificate or a 24 week course...

Can TFW under R186 do distance learning?

I'm in Canada working as clergy under R186(l). I'm wondering if I'm legally allowed to do a distance learning degree with an institution based in Canada but in another province?

Switching from Visitor Record to Student

It does require me to be in Canada because I have to be on location one day a week. But it's not full-time, so I guess that's out.

Switching from Visitor Record to Student

Ahhhh.... it wasn't explained to me. I was being made to think that with distance learning it wouldn't count towards helping PR because there was something deficient in the qualification, not that it literally CAN'T be done because study permits are only for courses requiring physical...

Switching from Visitor Record to Student

This is helpful. I've received conflicting information on this point, with some saying that if I work part-time while studying then I don't HAVE to attend in person. Is there a way of verifying this officially? I will be working regardless of what course I do, but there's a specific distance...

Switching from Visitor Record to Student

I'm presently in Canada under R186(l) working full-time as a pastor. Due to the recent changes in LMIA, my only option to get enough points for EE is to get post-secondary qualification. How do I move from R186(l) to a student visa that permits me to work part-time?

    Online Masters Degree (Distance Learning)

No, I don't have an accredited Bachelors. I have four years theological training in a non-accredited institution. I've contacted them and I'm hoping I can be accepted if I need to take this route for PR.
